As a church leadership we are committed to equipping all our members for their spiritual growth and effective service in the local community. We have a number of ministries or service opportunities available for folk to be involved in and to focus on their personal spiritual growth.
Our Healing Ministry consists of the following:
- Healing Rooms – Every Wednesday evening at 19:00. All are welcome
- Healing retreat/Life Change weekend – Held a few times on weekends (Fri-Sun)
- Dealing With Fear: A seminar dealing with fear, anxiety and panic attacks.
- Picking Up Pebbles: A seminar helping folk to deal better with anger issues;
- Unlocking Rejection: A seminar enabling deeper healing in an area that affects most folk.
- Break Every Chain: A seminar dealing with addictions and cults.
- It’s All in the Mind: A simplified teaching on Dr Caroline Leaf’s work entitled Who switched off my brain: Toxic thoughts and Emotions.
- Healing the Human Heart: A morning seminar on healing for the sexually abused.
Parents are requested to register their children at their different Children’s ministry classes each Sunday. Children’s ministry classes are available each Sunday during the school terms.
Our Children’s church service (SUPERCHURCH) is focused on communicating with primary school (grades 1 – 7) children and starts at 9am in the church hall.
For the younger children, we have two groups: our SUPERKIDZ group for ages 4 to ±6 years old and they meet from 9am at their adventure playground at the Healing rooms.
The smaller children, our SUPERTOTS group (aged 2 – 4), also meet at the Healing rooms from 9am.
The main purpose of a Small Group is to develop a stronger relationship with God and with each other. We share the practical demonstration of God’s love by forming special friendships, caring for one another, building each other up and supporting each other in times of need.
Revolution Youth caters for youngsters from the age of 13 to 18 years old.
We aim to help youth and young aduts develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by providing them with resources they need to grow spiritually.
Ladies seeking to be closer to God by becoming better daughters, wives and mothers through prayer and support.
The aim is to establish a spiritually healthy and active community of ladies; seen through demonstrated love for each other especially in times of need. To develop spiritually mature and praying ladies who are comfortable to pray individually and corporately.
Our Values being Together; Redeemed; Inspired; Blessed and Ethical; we desire to grow a solid relationship with Jesus and great friendships with other men so that we can, together, discover what it means to be the son of the Living God.
We believe in social and relational meetings where we can be together to braai, watch rugby, soccer, fish, hike or just chill.
If you can play an instrument or sing and believe that you have a heart of a servant-worshipper, contact us in order to set up an interview and explore your desire to join this ministry!
NOTE: All new ministry ideas are welcome! When someone has an idea for a new ministry, (has the vision, heart or passion from God to meet a need within the local community) we require that person to work with the appropriate pastor through a preparatory process
To start, contact the Ministry pastor, explain your idea for a new ministry, gather some folk together, pray hard, work harder, and kick off the ministry as soon as possible.
The process attempts to assist the new ministry leaders to ascertain that the ministry fulfils the purpose and mission of Vineyard Centurion, that the leader is obeying the will of God in their life and that the leader has sufficient assistance, encouragement and equipping to lead effectively. To find out more about initiating a New Ministry, please contact Pastor David Burgess at email@example.com or contact the church office: 012 656 8265
