Thank you Father that as we rest during this lock-down, your Word continues to guide and comfort us.
In this message, as we learn the “five ways that being in a hurry can hurt us”, will you teach us to never take for granted the value of slowing down. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
Thank you, Father, for setting an example to stop and rest as you did on the seventh day. Following you, help us to slow the pace of our lives and live with a margin, reserving some of our time, energy and resources for the unexpected. May that provide a healthier mind and body and make us available for your use. Jesus, help us to accept our human limitations, to expect problems and delays and to add buffer to our schedules so we can learn to live freely and lightly in your company. Holy Spirit, give us strength to take the first steps to lower stress and prune activities now and regularly so we may please you and find peace in our lives daily. In Jesus name, Amen.
